Bantam Black Ameraucanas (from Show Lines--Very Limited Availability)
These hatching eggs will come from my show line Ameraucanas. However, in the two shows we entered in October and December of 2024 (before the show season was canceled due to HPAI issues in CA) our black pullet won Open and Junior Champion AOCCL (the judge felt she could have gone further if she was a bit older and filled in in her chest!) and our black cock won Best of Breed in the Greater CA Poultry Show in February of 2024 and Junior Reserve AOCCL in December at the Central Coast Feather Fanciers show in December of 2024. I am excited to see what we will get this Spring from pairing these two together! The black pullet does come from a new line, so there will be some risk in getting leakage from the boy line, so please be aware that this is a RISK when you purchase from this line in 2025.
I’m excited to continue working on this breed and variety, there is nothing prettier than the green sheen that reflects in the natural sunlight! They are a work in progress to improve their size and type, as well as improve their beard/muffs as I still have too many that are heterozygous for these genes (we want FLUFFY faces!!). They have nice tight pea combs and fantastic temperaments and would provide you with a good starter flock or beautiful blue egg layers! Most of these will be available as cull chicks from my show/breeding line, but once I reach my maximum for hatching for myself I will be willing to sell small amounts of hatching eggs.
Price is for 6 hatching eggs, and do NOT include shipping. I cannot guarantee the success of the eggs once they leave my home and ship to you. I do my VERY best to ship them in the most successful way possible to ensure the air cells remain intact, but shipping is very VERY hard on fertile eggs.
